Aleph Neuro, a participant in the Butterfly Embedded co-development program, has unveiled brain imaging results using Butterfly Network's Ultrasound-on-Chip technology, aimed at non-invasive brain imaging.
Butterfly Network's Embedded licensing and co-development partner Aleph Neuro has publicly unveiled new brain imaging results, describing them as a step forward in non-invasive ultrasound-based brain imaging. Aleph Neuro built its technology using Butterfly's Ultrasound-on-Chip imaging modules through the Butterfly Embedded program, which licenses Butterfly's chip-based ultrasound technology to partner companies developing new medical devices.
The announcement follows other recent activity in Butterfly's Embedded ecosystem, including commentary on Midjourney Medical's full-body ultrasound scanner concept, which reportedly incorporates 40 Butterfly Ultrasound-on-Chip modules per system under a separate co-development agreement.
Butterfly also recently raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to a range of $119 million to $123 million after second-quarter revenue came in ahead of expectations, with the company citing strength in its Embedded licensing segment.
