Mindray has unveiled the Resona I9 Elite, a premium ultrasound system with integrated 5G connectivity enabling expert sonographers to remotely guide and control scans at rural hospitals up to 500km away.
Mindray has launched the Resona I9 Elite at the European Congress of Radiology 2026, showcasing a flagship ultrasound platform that integrates 5G-enabled remote scanning as a core clinical feature rather than an add-on.
The system allows a specialist sonographer or radiologist to remotely observe, annotate and actively manipulate probe movements performed by a trained technician at a remote site, using haptic feedback joystick controls.
