Nissha Medical Technologies Expands Micro Molding Operations with New Wisconsin Facility

📅 May 15, 2026 ⏱ 2 min read 👁 15 views

Nissha Medical Technologies (NMT) has announced the expansion of its micro molding operations in New Richmond, Wisconsin, with the development of a new 50,000-square-foot manufacturing facility aimed at increasing production capacity for advanced medical devices.

The expansion is designed to strengthen the company’s capabilities in precision micro molding, automated assembly, tooling, and next-generation medical manufacturing technologies. According to the company, the new facility will more than double operational capacity across development, automation, injection molding, and tool-making activities.

The Wisconsin site, formerly operating under the Isometric Micro Molding brand, specializes in manufacturing miniature and high-precision components for medical devices, wearable technologies, robotic surgery systems, neurovascular implants, drug delivery systems, and minimally invasive surgical applications.

NMT stated that the expansion supports increasing global demand for miniaturized medical components that require micron-level precision, thin-wall molding, micro features, and complex geometries. The company’s vertically integrated manufacturing approach combines micro tooling, micro molding, automated assembly, 3D printing, and CT scanning technologies within a single production ecosystem.

The New Richmond operation currently serves the medical device and drug delivery markets and is ISO 13485 certified for medical manufacturing. The facility has completed more than 1,000 projects and produced over 7,000 molds for precision healthcare applications.

Nissha Medical Technologies said the investment aligns with its broader strategy to expand engineering, innovation, and contract manufacturing capabilities for the global healthcare and medical device industry. The company continues to focus on emerging technologies supporting minimally invasive procedures, wearable healthcare systems, and next-generation diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
