Zydus Lifesciences has announced that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Amplitude SAS, has acquired 100% stake in French medical equipment distributor Aptitude Orthopedie for €360,000.
The acquisition, completed on April 30, 2026, involves the purchase of the entire share capital of the company. Aptitude Orthopedie operates in the medical equipment distribution space and has maintained a stable revenue profile, reporting a turnover of approximately €364,000 in FY2025.
This strategic move is aimed at internalizing commercial operations that were previously handled by third-party sales agents. By bringing these capabilities in-house, Zydus expects to reduce commission and business development costs while improving operational efficiency.
The acquisition also strengthens the company’s presence in the French market and aligns with its broader strategy to expand its footprint in the global medical devices and distribution segment.
